Regarding your health, once more... eating 1 Big Mac is not going to make you fat... & ordering one salad is not going to make you healthy...

It's what you eat (as well as the exercise you do & lifestyle you lead) consistently that matters most...

In your career... delivering 1 amazing presentation, closing 1 client, or pulling 1 all-nighter as you complete an important project (#hustle #grind) may help in the short-term... but is not anywhere near as important as how you approach your career & work every single day, day-in, day-out for years...

In your relationships, it's the same story...

Big, romantic gestures are amazing... but it's all the little stuff done consistently (e.g. listening well, communicating well, being kind, loving, understanding, generous, being fully present in the time you spend together) that contributes to either deep, passionate love over the long-term, or bitter divorce, the most...

Simply put...

It's Not What You Do Once Or Twice That Matters, But What You Do Consistently!

Which again, almost nobody is paying attention to, or talking about...

The news, mainstream media & even social media are always talking about that successful IPO, that Olympic Gold medal, or world-class performance...

But never shows us the years & decades of consistent, day-in, day-out action that it took to get there...

Which also brings us to lie #2...

We've also been told that we are free beings, exerting our free will & making conscious, well-thought-out choices which move us towards what we want...

That, at every possible turn, we must evaluate all possible options, make smart decisions, take intelligent action — & if you do that, you'll achieve results!

"Think it, believe it, achieve it"... right?

Well, sorry to break it to you, but that's not exactly how it works...

In reality, most of what we do is not conscious, or carefully thought-out...

Rather, most of what we do each & every day, week, month, year... we do without really thinking about it consciously, or logically, at all...

We do it merely based on what we've done before (a.k.a. our habits).

Studies Prove Precisely This...

Many studies have shown that between 80% - 90% of our thoughts & feelings in a given day are the same as the day, or week, before...

And, as a Duke University researcher discovered back in 2006, more than 40% of the actual, visible, actions that we take (what we actually do each & every day!) are not conscious, thought-out, planned out either... but habits also.

Put another way...

Most of the "choices" we make each day may feel like the products of well-considered decision making, but they’re not.

They’re just habits.

Plain & simple.

What this means is, even if you think that you've made every major life decision correctly & that when you're consciously aware, you are taking all of the right steps in your life... you can still, unfortunately, fail.

Why?

Because what you do consciously, deliberately is only the tip of the iceberg...

What you do consistently & automatically (out of habit) — that's the main part of the iceberg underneath the water that makes the biggest difference...

Your subconscious mind — the part that keeps your heart beating, your body functioning, notices everything, siphons through 60,000 - 80,000 thoughts per day — is a lot more powerful than your conscious mind... &, for your success, you have to take advantage of this...

How?

By changing your habits.

It all boils down to this...

If you really want to change, transform & elevate your life (including: your health, money, relationships, happiness)... you need to stop focusing so much on the individual actions you take... & focus more on your underlying habits.

Or, as the great saying goes...

"Change Your Habits, Change Your Life"

^ It really is that simple!

But, it's not always that easy (or, at least not if you're not equipped with the right "habit-hacking" strategies, methods & processes - which we'll talk about in a moment)...

See, habits are a bit of a beast...

When it comes to your habits, the same mechanism that makes them (as in, good habits) so powerful & instrumental to achieving anything you set your mind to... are the same ones that make bad habits so incredibly dangerous...

The best metaphor here is a double-edged sword...

That's what habits are — a double-edged sword.

The right ones may make you, but the wrong ones can break you.

In fact, this is the sad reality for most people...

Not only do they fail to take full advantage of the powerful, life-changing benefits of good habits... they fall victim to bad ones!

Over many years & decades, most people have developed a lot of bad habits, addictions & self-sabotaging behaviors...

The unfortunate reality is that, right now, these bad habits pretty much run most people's entire lives...

Each new day... from the second that they wake up, to the moment their day concludes as they fall back asleep...

Yes, they may have a few good ones in there...

But for the most part their day is one bad habit after another, after another...

Bad health habits...
Bad work habits...
Bad money habits...
Bad relationship habits...

All leading them further down the same, familiar yet devastating path of pain & despair & eventually regret...

What's even worse though is that most people know this...

They are intimately aware of their own bad habits & the negative effects that they are having on their present & even more so, their future...

Ask them & they'll often list exactly what their bad habits are...

So, why don't they change?

Because, they don't know how...

If there was a metaphorical button in front of them that they could press to eradicate a bad habit they had, most people would press it...

But, they don't know how to change... so they don't...

They remain stuck, powerless & hopeless to change...

Often, merely worrying about the next time that one of their "bad habits" will kick in & take over (like opening TikTok for a second before getting trapped in the loop for hours wasting time, or lashing out at someone only to have to apologize for "flying off the handle" later)...

So, that's the bad news (sorry again to be the bearer of it!)

But, I Do Have Good News Too!

In fact, it's not just good news... but has the potential to be truly amazing, extraordinary & completely life-changing news for you...

This news is that change is absolutely, 100%, no-doubt-in-the-world possible!

No matter what your age, background, or current life situation...

You can change your 'habits' & therefore your life for the better!
